Fort Construction Limited is working for the Neuchâtel mobility of tomorrow
As part of the canton of Neuchâtel’s “NE Mobility 2030” strategy, the La Sagne teams have started the redevelopment of the RC1310 for the section between La Sagne and La Corbatière. An important project in the region.
The redevelopment of the RC1310 between La Sagne and Ponts-de-Martel is the first major project concerning “NE mobility 2030” to have started. The first sections were put out to tender at the start of 2020. Our branch in the canton of Neuchâtel was commissioned for the La Sagne – La Corbatière section. Its objectives are:
- move the cantonal road away from homes as much as possible;
- create a sidewalk along the entire length of the route in order to provide safety to local residents;
- bury industrial networks.
A team and materials to match
The quality bass from Gentil et Fils SA was a strength for this project. We can also highlight an optimal carbon footprint thanks to the quarry located less than four kilometers from the site.
The project, which was supposed to begin at the beginning of June, actually started at the beginning of July. Despite everything, construction deadlines were met. This is thanks to the efficiency of our men on the ground. Between six and fifteen employees were mobilized under the supervision of Christophe Ganzenmüller, site foreman.
